Another video game is being adapted into film. Originally Sylvain White was set to direct. But you know how that goes in Hollywood. Now James Wan director of Dead Space the game will co-write and direct. Awesome!!!! A video game director, directing a video game film. Now how ever would have thought?!?! And truly it seems that Wan is going to give us something good. You know at the very least it will scare your hair white. Take a look at this concept art for the film. Doesn’t it look so familiar to a new Castlevania game coming out next year?!?! Hmmmm………..

I really can not express just how much I love this series. For me Ratchet and Clank is like the whole loving Nintendo’s Mario thing. Ratchet and Clank is my Super Mario. These games are fun. With cool stories and even cooler characters. Insomniac through Ratchet and Clank made be buy Resistance. That is how great a game this is.  So if you will just bear with me as I lay down these awesome shots of my favorite Sony mascots in their next adventure.

Ubisoft is creating three shot films, 10-15 minutes each as a prequel to the forth coming Assassins Creed 2 video game. They were shot at Ubisofts Hybride Technologies (the special effects house acquired last year and responsible for the effects seen in 300.)
Yves Simoneau is directing the project. And the stories focus on the father of the Renaissance assassin Ezio.

Nearly the entire set of the film is green screen. And the backgrounds are taken directly from the game. Most of the motion capture and voice actors are being used for the short films. No release dates have been given.

An anime DVD set for an early 2010 release. This “cartoon” wil be similar to the Animatrix. A combination of short stories telling the history of Halo. One story is going tell of the history of the Spartan warrior class. And another is a two part story telling the entire 100,000 year history of Halo. It will be distributed by Warner Bros. on standard DVD and Blu Ray. And also for digital distribution. Xbox Live will have a preview this fall.

Well Microsoft gets their first taste of Blu Ray…….LOL.

Denzel Washington is known to be one of the greatest actors of our time. he has done I believe every genre in Hollywood. Now he enters the post apocalyptic world of  The book of Eli. In this this film he must safe guard a book of the same title  I guess in order to save humanity. I guess we’ll see what’s in the book January 15, 2010.

These guys have completely lost it. Not only are they making a God of War comic book, but now two novels are in the works. The first to release in March 2010. This will no doubt release within a hairs breath of the final issue of the comic. Heralding the God of War 3 video game. Now on top of all that. You can own a piece of Kratos himself. United Cutlery is offering a replica of one of the Blades of Chaos. It will be available in October 2009 and will cost a measly $123.99. Pre-order yours today. Or you can wait to have your wallet raped on eBay.

These scans are totally in Japanese. But they show Quite a lot. Hope, Sahz, and Vanille are shown. Some battle pics with Vanille, and Hopes weapons. Also there’s something between Snow and Hope. I believe that the woman from the trailer and demo that Snow failed to save may be Hopes mom. We shall see.  I guess we’ll find out which summons each of these characters have, as well as details about Limit Breaks in the coming months. Stay Tuned.

I really am surprised myself. You have to love Comic Con. These guys get all the good exclusives. And the show doesn’t really start until Thursday. Wow…………….
