Uncharted 2 Among Thieves comes out on October 13. But to rev up the hype we’re going to deliver all the video content from G4 TV’s X-Play Uncharted Special. This game is looking fantastic. Just got my PlayStation magazine, and they give it five stars. My review will be coming in late October. Although as of right now, I agree with them.  So hold on to hats this is going to be one heck of a ride.

Two more actors has been added to the cast of Marvels upcoming film Thor. Jaimie Alexander and Colm Feore. Jaimie Alexander will be playing Sif. The Asgargian warrior that would put you in the mind os Wonder Woman or Xena. She is also one of Thor’s loves. It has not been revealed what character Feore will play. Although it is said it will be a villain.

Heroes is back. And it is looking like they are truly trying to redeem themselves. With a 2 hour premiere kicking of season 4, volume 5, NBC seems to have gone back to the basics with everything. A strong reestablishing of the core characters. And a great introduction of the carnival supers. The intro monologue gave a good representation of what this volume should be about. “Redemption”

We love Peter. And finally he seems to be headed in the direction that was set up in season 1. Helping people is he always wanted to do. Now he is slowly and most positivly doing just that. When asked to help HRG, Peter only wants to know what power the enemy had. Does Peter at last have his original power back?! Can he possess multiple abilities at once?! Well that did look like a super powered throw to me. Only time will tell.

The emergence of Sylars powers is great. “Nathan” has no idea what’s going on. And Angela Petrelli is scared out of her mind. It was a nice touch to see that Sylar’s persona wasn’t just erased, put was actually transfered to Matt. Now Parkman must deal with having Sylar in his mind. And the only way to get rid of him is to put him back in his own body. Also any man would have given the pool guy the whammy. Sylar is awesome inside of Matt’s mind. The devilish antagonising was brilliantly done. I can’t wait to see more.

My man HRG has broght the Haitian back. It’s good to have that old team together again. Noah seems to be looking for that right super powered partner. Has he found it in the Ice Queen Tracy Strauss? Maybe. I am glad that Danko is dead. It should have happened last season. But the mind wipe and mureder was just right. Mama Bennett has a boyfriend? HRG seemed pretty down in the dumps about that. The Carnival will keep him busy. Claire’s life is too normal. She can’t stop from hurling herself from buldings. Hate her new friend. Can anyone say VILLIIAN. Can’t wait to see how that turns out.

Hiro and Ando are still comic relief. Can’t say I’m pleased with that. But with Samuel manipulating Hiro we can expect to see something very bad, or very dark happen to Hiro. It’s really about time that Hiro and Peter start to grab hold of thier destiny.

The Carnival guys are more than I thought they would be. I would guess nearly everyone in it has an ability. Samuel is after some big time revenge. And is looking to recruit some of the shows most powerful cast. I really don’t think that will end well for him. Considering how our Heroes got manipulated last season. And that was only six weeks ago. In story time.

All and all I was quite pleased how this season has started. If they keep up the momentum that has begun with these first episodes, the next sixteen will be very good. Stay tuned for the review of next weeks episode “Ink”.

The Tokyo Game Show doesn’t start until next week, but it seems Square Enix just couldn’t wait.

This review is totally on point. Every part of the game actually looks better than all the footage shown to date. If you thought Uncharted Drakes Fortune was good, this is going to be unbelievable. Think I’m lying, Watch this review.

The Video Game Console War is in full effect. And I am here to rally to the Sony banner. This holiday will see Sony and Microsoft go head to head for the first time since the next gen console war kicked off. 2009 is the year of PlayStation 3. And here are the five reasons why.

5. Blu Ray Movies: This is number five because you have to be a movie  fanatic to truly appreciate the power of film in this format. After watching your favorite action, sci-fi, fantasy, or super hero flick you’ll never watch it on a normal DVD again. If you’re looking to get a Ps3 or a Blu Ray player these movies are a must have .

4. Hard Drive Upgrades: From a guy that loves to download stuff, and doesn’t have a DVR, this is the best thing to ever happen. As of now the Xbox 360 can come with a 250 GB HDD. And the PS3 will also be getting a 250 GB HDD. There is no higher HDD available for the the Xbox 360. But you can put a 500GB HDD in the PlayStation for less than $100. And in less than 10 minutes.

3. Download Central: With a 500GB HDD in your system the possibilities are endless. The amount of video and game content the machine can hold is amazing. Since the PS3 can play Divx video data, you can download nearly any TV show or movie and transfer to the PS3 via, portable HDD or flash drive. The torrents are bursting with goodies just waiting to be added to your media list. Japanese anime that is subtitled that would take years to reach the U.S. are available weekly. I don’t have have a DVR and would never get one. This is what makes the PS3 the best family media entertainment device. All your favorite flicks right on the HDD, no need for streaming.

2. PlayStation 3 Slim: After being the most expensive console out there, Sony has made there way back into the main stream of the consumers market. For $299 you get a PS3 with a 120 GB HDD. Not only that but you get this cool sleek looking console that is the envy of all gamers. Hard drive upgrades still apply. And online game play is still free. With all the great exclusive titles for this system, nothing is going to stop Sony now.

1. The Uncharted 2 PS3 Slim Bundle: The picture speaks for itself. Sporting a 250GB HDD and the best game this year. Sony is ready to lay waste to the competition. And no I don’t think the Xbox 360 Modern Warfare Bundle will be a threat. Most of the guys buying Modern Warfare 2 already have an Xbox. Hopefully next week we’ll get more information on this sweet PS3 Exclusive Bundle. And yes Sony denies that this is real. Just like the PS3 Slim, and the PSP.

And if these five little things don’t seem good enough. Just take a look at the awesome library that Sony has. Both current and upcoming titles that will knock your socks off. “It only does everything”

Good Stuff over here. Release date. Speeches. Elixers. And for all those guys that love Sony and hate Microsoft. The Final Fantasy XIII, PS3 Bundle. Some things you have to love. But take a look a these, and feast your eyes on the price of FF XIII. In Yen and Dollars. It’s a little crazy. Remember the average PS3 game is $60. It’s all good though. Yoshinori Kitase said they are looking for the U.S version to hit 3 months after the Japanese release date. That means March. Let’s keep our fingers crossed. Because if it does come out in the states in March ,we’ll have FF XIII, and God of War 3. YES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
