Out with the old and in with the new. That has been the saying for as long as I can remember. There were so many things that made 2009 great. But that’s behind us now. We have to look to the future. But not too far. I’m here to just give you a taste of what 2010 will give us. How do you star the new year? With all the cool stuff that made last year great. More movies, games, and comics.

January is full of great stuff just waiting for all of us to grab a hold of. Wither you love to read or watch TV there are tons of things to enjoy.

Theater Movies: These are the films that are to be seen in the theater or on Bluray. There’s no substitute.

Daybreakers: Another cool vampire flick that tells a story of Vampires stock piling humans for food. What happens when the food begins to run out? Staring Ethan Hawk.

The Book of Eli: Post Apocalyptic world. Denzel Washington, and Gary Oldman. Nuff said.

The Edge of Darkness: Mel Gibson returns to acting. A well written suspense film filled with intrigue and revenge.

DVD Movies: I really don’t buy regular DVD anymore. usually on;y for my kids. But Disney has been so good to the public lately. Buying the Bluray includes a standard DVD and digital copy. You can’t lose with that.

Books: One thing in this world these days that there can never be enough of. Whatever genre you may prefer, you should try to read something this year. Even though more people would rather watch TV. I say that reading can be so much more enjoyable. It makes us think more as well as feel more. Which is something our society is in dear need of. Empathy.

Comic Books: This is something that is still new to us over here at FHTI. So if I fail to deliver all the goods forgive me. I’m just going for the ultra hot stuff. It’s always nice to visit your local comic shop. You never know what you’ll find.
