Final Fantasy XIII International US Trailer
Everyone that is waiting foe this game should know that the only reason I’m posting this is because of the emotion that is given off from watching this. Someone once said that playing video games is an emotional commitment for just a few hours. And we judge a game on how it makes us feel. Well just looking at the trailer for FF XIII makes me want to cry with joy. You’ll see what I mean. Oh, and the Theme song is pure fire.
Super Street Fighter 4: Video Character Profiles

Spider-Man Reboot
Spider-Man and Spider-Man 2 were two of the most powerful comic movies I’ve ever seen. They hold a special place for me. Well, Spidy has always been my favorite. And when I heard of a live action Spider-Man being made I was psyched. Nothing could be better than that. I may have seen Spider-Man in the theater over four times. And I had to see Spider-Man 2 in IMAX. An experience we all should have once in our lives. Then Spider-Man 3 came and really kinda ruined it for me. I do have all three films on Bluray. Although I’ve yet to sit through the entirety of the third film. I’ll never forget those first two films. And the experience I had watching the. It was the time of my life. But some things just don’t last.

This comes as as a very big surprise. And a good surprise. Spider-Man 4 as we know it is dead. Tobey, Kristen and Sam Raimi are all out. Sony/Columbia Pictures along with Laura Ziskin and Avi Arid. will usher a new younger Spider-Man into Hollywood in Summer 2012. To me this is great. After Spider-Man 3 which
personally left much to be desired. Spider-Man need new life breathed into him. Hopefully the film will follow in the footsteps of the rebooted Incredible Hulk, which proved just how awesome the Green Goliath really is. And I REALLY HOPE they use a bit of the formula that was implemented in The Spectacular Spider-Man cartoon series. No word on how closely Sony and Marvel are working together on this project. But you can guess pretty close. And all this on the heels of Marvel and Disney closing their business deal. I suspect that had much to do with it. Here are some comments from the people responsible for the first Spider-Man Trilogy, And the Reboot.
“A decade ago we set out on this journey with Sam Raimi and Tobey Maguire and together we made three ‘Spider-Man’ films that set a new bar for the genre. When we began, no one ever imagined that we would make history at the box-office and now we have a rare opportunity to make history once again with this franchise. Peter Parker as an ordinary young adult
grappling with extraordinary powers has always been the foundation that has made this character so timeless and compelling for generations of fans. We’re very excited about the creative possibilities that come from returning to Peter’s roots and we look forward to working once again with Marvel Studios, Avi Arad and Laura Ziskin on this new beginning,” said Amy Pascal, co-chairman of Sony Pictures Entertainment.
“Working on the ‘Spider-Man’ movies was the experience of a lifetime for me. While we were looking forward to doing a fourth one together, the studio and Marvel have a unique opportunity to take the franchise in a new direction, and I know they will do a terrific job,” said Sam Raimi.
“‘Spider-Man’ will always be an important franchise for Sony Pictures and a fresh start like this is a responsibility that we all take very seriously,” said Michael Lynton, Chairman and CEO of Sony Pictures. “We have always believed that story comes first and story guides the direction of these films and as we move onto the next chapter, we will stay true to that principle and will do so with the highest respect for the source material and the fans and moviegoers who deserve nothing but the best when it comes to bringing these stories and characters to life on the big screen.”

Well, all I can say is this better be worth it. Then again isn’t Marvel’s Star Spangled Hero hitting theaters in 2012? Captain America and Spider-Man would be a great Summer blockbuster combination. It could be. And yes I will miss Tobey as Parker. He did an AMAZING job.
