Adult Swims Hilarious urban cartoon returns after a two year hiatus. There is no telling how far this cartoon has changed. But as you can see even the art has been fine tuned. The third season of Boondocks will premiere on Sunday Mat 2nd at 11:30 EST.Aaron McGruder will no doubt be pushing the envelope as he has in the previous two seasons.  Don’t miss it.

MArvel has been bringing us some very nice straight to home cartoon movies for a few years.  This time we are going to outer space. No silly not with the Silver Surfer. With the Hulk. The story Written by Greg Pak is one of the best comic book stories I’ve read in a long time. I’m glad they’ve decided to bring it to us in cartoon form. So get ready to bother your girlfreind. Planet Hulk crashes home on February 2, 2010.

DC has also proven to be masters of the DVD movie. I have everyone on Bluray, and JLA Crisis will be no different. I believe the story is dine by Dwayne McDuffie. Anyone that has watched any of the Justice League cartoons knows he is one of the great minds that forged that show. With that and an awesome art style to go along with it, DC has another sure hit. Look for JLA: Crisis On two Earths on March 2, 2010.

Big brother NICK has bought the right’s to TMNT for 60 million. This includes the rights to both movie and television shows. The new TMNT film is going to be live action. It is supposed to be shot similar to Where The Wild Things Are. With elaborate costumes, and the facial expressions done with computer graphics. With Nickelodeons track record with TV series I personally think that is a win win scenario. With the film, who can really say. The only thing we can us to compare it to has shown very little. And that is The Last Airbender. All we can do is hope. And pray that the fighting at least is good.

This is one of the greatest Hulk stories ever told. If you thought you understood the Hulk and you haven’t read this story. You need to get acquainted with the Green Goliath. The story that was originally brought to us by Greg Pak (writer), and various artist is now coming to DVD and Blu-ray. If you have a Blu-ray player and haven’t bought a cartoon yet. This story is worth every once of data on that hi-def disc. It had been some time since I read a Hulk comic. And everyone was raving about the Planet Hulk story line. I waited for the collection. Best hard cover comic I ever bought. The aliens he meets. The fighting. His new love. And a little surprise. about the Hulk and Banners relationship. It was all just perfect. Buy it on Blu-ray February 2010.

Personally I love the Clone Wars. It was quite refreshing to see the Star Wars characters in a more exciting atmosphere. I know everyone is tired of this and wants Lucas to move away from it. But he does seem to be doing a good job. bring more depth to the Clone conflict. Season 2 looks like it will just as cool. The western bounty hunter, a “love interest” for Obi Wan, and more Force fighting. The only thing I could ask for is maybe some characters from the Star Wars Republic comic. Like Quinlan Vos. He is just an amazing guy. Hands down one of my favorite Jedi. Besides that more Mace Windu of course.

Marvel has teamed up with anime studio Madhouse to produce two Marvel animes. Ironman and Wolverine. It will air in Japan spring 2010. This reimagining of the characters for the Japanese audience is being over seen by Warren Ellis.

This is a little sneak peek of the soon to be released DVD. I really didn’t look at it myself. only to nake sure that it played properly. I’ll wait for the blu ray. Enjoy.

It is truly a shame that this is the best that we can do. From an anime so great we get…….the bootleg. Gatchaman or Battle of the Planets as it was known in America was one of the first animes to grace the U.S and do well. From the company that brought us the digital Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Imagi here is the the teaser of Gatchaman. Set to be released in Summer 2010.

Superman. Batman. Blu-Ray. Nuff said.

I am a huge Avatar fan. This cartoon is nothing less than FANTASTIC. Although only a teaser trailer M. Night Shamalan delivers on the scope of the show. I hope it becomes one of 2010 greatest films. I can’t wait to see the full trailer. If you don’t know about this film, you have nearly a year to watch the series. It’s three seasons. And it is red, hot FIRE. Trust me you’ll enjoy every minute. Oh, one last thing. The special effects are being done by Industrial Light and Magic.
