Joe Madureira is one of the most amazing comic bookartist of our time. It has been some time sine he has graced us with a good run on a comic book. His last stint on Ultimates 3 written by Jeph Loeb was outstanding if very short. Madureira is best known for his creator owned comic Battle Chasers. We’re still waiting for that series to be finished. Now you can see his work  not in print, but on you PS3 or X Box 360. The young artist is the co creator and artist on the very anticipated Darksiders.

The design of the game is stunning. Joe Mad is the leading American that draws with a strong anime influence. This game has been compared to God of War among other games. But from the trailers and interviews, this game is in a class all it’s own. The protagonist os Darksiders is War one pf the fabled Four Horsemen. Betrayed he must now set to restore balance and seek vengeance. Set in a true post apocalyptic world, with gigantic monsters of all kinds.  War battles against both Angels and Demons. The voice acting revealed in the new trailer is outstanding. And the story seems strong. With Joe Mad being a fan of video games and fantasy, it will be nice to see just what Darksiders turns out to be. Available January 2010.
