NeoWindu is very happy to hear this news. I finally get DLC for a game that I love. ALRIGHT!!! Suckerpunch. Now Fell The Wraith Of Cole The Vampire.

inFAMOUS 2 Festival of Blood will be a brand new standalone single player DLC for download via PSN. Vampires swarm New Marais, and revered superhero Cole MacGrath has been bitten. To save his soul – and the city – he has just one night to find and kill the head vampire. Featuring new missions, themed environment settings, plus new characters and enemies, Festival of Blood explores the darker side of the inFAMOUS universe. Previous inFAMOUS games will not be needed to play this DLC.

The DLC will swarm PSN in October, in time for Halloween. In the meantime, here is the first piece of high-res art and a new video teaser trailer during Pyre Night in New Marais. Enjoy!

This game is shaping up to be just plain awesome. As a big fan of the first Infamous I can really tell how much better everything the entire game looks and moves. I’m really into creating stuff. But to actually play someone elses stuff looks cool. Infamous meets Litlle Big Planet. And Infamous 2 just happens to come out on the first day of E3. Sonys presentation will be electrifying.

Now with the sequelsoon to be released, Sucker Punch Studio has let some more ticks out the bag. The Karma system of Infamous has changed drastically. Now the two new women in Coles life, Kou and Nix. These two are the focus of not only karma choice. But ultimatly a choice in power. Ice or Napalm? Good or Bad? What will you choose?!?!?

I really though I’d be able to stay away from the over priced “Special Editions” of these great games. Last year it was God of War 3. And before that it was Resident Evil 5 and various other games. Well it looks like Sony has me by my right back pocket again. The much anticapate sequel to the electrifying superhero action game, Infamous finally gets a release date. On June 7th Infamous 2 will shock the money right out of you. Of course you’ll have the regular $60 game. But you can also get the Hero Edition. This will set you back $100. Which is the same price I paid for the GOW 3 Ultimate Edition. This to me is really worth it. And I finally get to have andother PS3 statue to go next to my Chimera from Resistance 2.
