The successor to Darth Maul is here. And it seems that he is something other than Sith or Jedi. What he is, is out for blood.

I for one really love this show. Clone Wars is one of the great things that George Lucas has green light. Lasting up to this third season, I am happy to see the show continue to grow. This Friday Anakin, Obi Wan, and Ahsoka will get costume changes. Anakin and Obi Wan will begin to look quite similar to their Revenge of the Sith counter parts. Shedding the Clone armor the have wore thus far. Ahsoka will change a bit more dramatically. She will be taller, older looking and have clothing that is more “Jedi”. More covered up. And she’s sporting Luke Skywalkers fighting style. Light saber and a smaller one called a “Shota” This little trailer will give you a glimpse.

A new trailer is out, and its amazing. It features some new bad guys like Asajj Ventress and Darth Maul’s brother Savage Oppress.

Star Wars: The Clone Wars S3 airs on Cartoon Network, on September 17 2010.

At this years Star Wars Celebration George Lucas announced that all six films will be coming to Bluray in the Fall of 2011. The films will have more deleted scenes added as well as all the behind the scenes and documentaries. George Lucas had to say this about the films coming to bluray. “Blu-ray is the absolute best way to experience Star Wars at home – in pristine high definition. The films have never looked or sounded better.”

Star Wars Announcement:

“Today at Star Wars Celebration V, Lucasfilm Ltd. and Twentieth Century Fox Home Entertainment 
announced that the complete Star Wars Saga will come to Blu-ray Disc with a worldwide release in Fall 2011. The Star Wars Blu-ray Box Set will feature all six live-action Star Wars feature films utilizing the highest possible picture and audio presentation, along with extensive special features – including documentaries, vintage behind-the-scenes moments, interviews, retrospectives and never-before-seen footage from the Lucasfilm archives.”

George Lucas enrages fan boys at times. And sometimes, just sometimes he really delivers. The “cartoon” is fantastic. I for one am quite happy about them getting another season. Regardless of the other projects that are struggling to be created. Or even the ones that are being made that will no doubt leave the masses wailing. The Clone Wars are a safe bet to get your Star Wars on.
