Microsoft Has It In The Box: Xbox 360 Amazing Bundles
Microsoft knows how to wrap a present that will make any video game player leap to their cause. No matter how often or intense the debates over Next Gen consoles are it seems that there is ONE constant. Microsoft is better at being
Santa Clause. This is what I mean. Last year I had an article ” PlayStation Bundle Blunders”. Microsoft has, time and again shown that they know exactly what the people want, (In the box). And that is exactly what we get. A consumer may say MAKE me buy the machine. And I really can’t say how it pains me that Sony just doesn’t get this. Despite the big exclusive games, the new commercials “which are fantastic by the way”, and all the great stuff that Sony offers. They can not offer what Xbox 360 does. ( In the box). And really that is what the consumers want.
How can you continually but out these great exclusive titles and not offer a bigger payout to those not even in the Next Gen gaming world. Their will always be new gamers. ALWAYS!!!!! And Microsoft knows this. For them it’s whatever it takes. Multiplayer game coming out? Doesn’t matter if it’s not exclusive. Put a bundle together ASAP. Sony had White Knight Chronicles, Heavy Rain and the highly anticipated God Of War 3. Not a U.S bundle in sight for any of those titles. While Microsoft on the other hand. Will bundle it all. Last month they had a Final Fantasy XIII bundle. The game came out for both consoles. Where was Sony? Clearly the game runs better on the PS3. But to the average consumer; you would
think the Xbox 360 was better. Why?!?!?! Showmanship. They have a bundle, and all the commercials. These things can have a ridiculous impact on how people view the systems differences. They recently announced a Lost Planet 2 bundle. A guarantee must buy for those online shooter fanatics. And if you don’t have a system. You’ll look to get the most out your money. Microsoft offers that. it doesn’t matter if I have to pay for online play. You know why?! because I got some cool stuff in the box. People don’t say it. I don’t think they even know themselves. But when given a game system with all these little “extras’. It makes you have more loyalty. You may think it strange but it’s true.
So many gamers love to play online. So many in fact that it’s quite debatable if there are more off line gamers than online. Microsoft has the inside track on this. Nearly every Xbox 360 comes with a headset. A major feature in Next Gen gaming. it comes in the box. Now with that already included. I’m looking to grab an online subscription. Why?! They 360 box I just bought gave me a reason. A simple thing such as a head set included will do that. The new Lost Planet 2 bundle will have that and more. it’s this that makes buying and gaming worth while with Microsoft. I am a big PS3 gamer. And I have to say Xbox 360 has the total package deal down packed. Glad I already have a 360, or I would be buying one on April 14. Yes another one. Splinter Cell Conviction arrives in stores with a bundle in tow. You gotta love it.
2010 is just starting. What else does Microsoft have in store for the hungry masses that love to have the best of
current gaming tech. Project Natal is coming. You know that will have a bundle package to make any Christmas tree tip over. Halo Reach will most likely be bundled. And who knows what We’ll see at E3 this year. Maybe even Gears Of War 3. Whatever Microsoft has in store, you can expect to see more games. More bundles. And more deals. As for Sony. Kevin Butler is Awesome. But one man can do only so much……..without a PS3 Bundle that is. I say if you can’t beat them, join them. And Sony has plenty of games to package with the console. And they better hurry. The Microsoft bundles are hogging all the stock space on Gamestop and Best buy. Soon there won’t be any for the PlayStation Move or Resistance 3. That Natal bundle box looks huge even from here. And that’s big to see it all the way from Spring to the Fall.
Splinter Cell Conviction Launch Trailer
In just a few months Microsoft will be releasing their new stealth action game. Which happens to be an awesome exclusive. The competition is quite fierce. Microsoft hasn’t released an exclusive for some time it feels like. Or is it the games have just been boring. Any how, on April 13 we will finally have something to grace our Xbox 360′s. With multiple launch date changes and a complete overhaul from what was originally shown years ago, I can only hope this game will be all that they say it is. Well truthfully I can’t wait to get my hands on this title. Not being a huge fan of the series Conviction will be my first Splinter Cell buy for any system. The reworked game mechanics makes it much more appealing. We can have all the stealth action without over zealous consequences for not pulling a certain mission off correct. It seems that Sam Fisher is more like an older version of Jason Bourne. Also the added co op game play I will no doubt spent months on this game. I just hope i find some time for Red Dead Redemption.

Microsoft kicked butt. The gaming industry is booming. I really thought Sony had an advantage. But it looks like Microsoft is still throwing knock out blows. Tomorrow Nintendo and Sony are really going to have to go the extra mile. Guess we’ll just have to wait and see.
