Now we get a real working, playable demo of Zelda running on the WiiU. Even though it’s a cam version, it’s totally worth it. Only made even more awesome by the fact that someone is playing it. This is something that Square Enix should take note of. You show a Tech Demo. And then have a true working demo that people can play. Nintendo is very gimmicky but they know how to give the fans what they want and deserve. Click on the pic for a HD look at Zelda on the WiiU.

We all are waiting to see just what Nintendo has up it’s sleeve. Especially with this new HD console. Could it be This……………

John Paul and myself were just talking about this yesterday. I really would not be surprised. Would you?!?!?!?

Now after Nintendo has OFFICIALLY announced that they will unviel a new console at this years E3; We have a pretty nice look at what we suspect to be the new Nintendo console. Nothing has been confirmed as of yet. As always Nintendo never answers to rumor. Well as rumors go, this seems a pretty solid one. Hopefully this will be the last until the OFFICIAL unvieling at E3.

Personally all the code names and speculation is hardly nessesary. E3 is only a month and a week away. IGN has some interesting information on the specs of the console. repotedly being more powerful than the PS3. That is awesome if true. But the whole sounds a bit far fetched. Without a bluray disc Nintendo would have to resort to an insane amount of discs or downloading huge games straight to the console. As I said before. PURE SPECULATION.

Here’s an exerpt from IGN:

According to sources with knowledge of the project, Nintendo’s next console could have a retail price of anywhere between $350 and $400 based on manufacturing costs, and will ship from Taiwanese manufacturer, Foxconn, this October, putting the earliest possible retail release anywhere between mid-October and early November. 

IGN has learned that the system will be based on a revamped version of AMD’s R700 GPU architecture, not AMD’s Fusion technology as previously believed, which will, as previously reported, out perform the PlayStation 3′s NVIDIA 7800GTX-based processor. Like the Xbox 360, the system’s CPU will be a custom-built triple-core IBM PowerPC chipset, but the clocking speeds will be faster. The system will support 1080p output with the potential for stereoscopic 3D as well, though it has not been determined whether that will be a staple feature.

We contacted Nintendo representatives, but they declined to comment on “rumors or speculation.”

Of  Course They Don’t. Because that would just leave out all the surprise….right!!?!?

Game Informer has stated that Nintendo is set to unveil a new HD console at this years E3. This succussor to the Wii is said to be able to rival the power of both Xbox 360 and the PS3. I for one am only a little curious. I don’t own a Wii. And truthfully it would take a whole lot for me to buy this new machine. Maybe Nintendo has THE MASTER PLAN. That being, having at least 2 major Nintendo brand titles for launch. I say of course Mario, Zelda and Metroid. They also would need a strong RPG. And a racer. It should have both normal and motin controls. Tell the truth people you really can’t play EVERY game with motion control. Let me know how you feel after a an all night binge Zelda Skyward Sword. And don’t say it isn’t done. We’ve all done.

Well I guess we’ll just have to wait until June 7-9. And the console isn’t set to drop until 2012.

Yesterday was Mario’s 25th Birthday. The original Super Mario Bros game debuted on the Nintendo Entertainment System in 1985. So a happy birthday from us at FHTI and also to his creator Shigeru Miyamoto, for making one of the most memorable and enduring character in not only game but entertainment history.

In tribute to this accomplishment, Nintendo has released a video covering the important games in his very long history. Please enjoy the nostalgia. Long live the King of the platform.

I am no real fan of the Wii. And I have put off buying all this time. Now I am at a loss. I have no choice but to buy one now. This game is just phenomenal. Samus is the one. And she has the power upgrades to put any monster in the grave.
