Right now I’m feeling a bit bummed out about what I’m playing. God of War finished. And Final Fantasy beaten. I’ve jumped over to my 360 to play Splinter Cell Conviction. Not that the game itself isn’t solid. Let’s face facts. it’s no Metal Gear. I really want to get into Conviction, but it’s just not pulling me in. Maybe those last two games were so awesome Sam Fisher just isn’t enough. We all have different taste and paces. Maybe in a few months I’ll get back to it.

On May 18 the newest Prince of Persia game will be released. And I for one am looking forward to that. Returning to the Sands of Time universe, we see our Prince in a story in between Sands of Time , and the Warrior Within. I didn’t know what to think of it when it was announced at the VGA (Video Game Awards). But truly after watching previous footage and this current set; I know I’m going to love this. If you’re a POP fan and even if you’re not. Take a look at this footage and you’ll know as well, that the Prince is back. Buy it. Play it. Love it.

I can truly say that I thought this game was going to be another movie game failure. Apparently Ubisoft doesn’t believe in that. The forgotten Sands is all that we loved about the POP series on the PS2 with so much more added. Here is a look at what this title is all about. And This Summer will have not only a fantastic Prince of Persia film. But also a game that is just as awesome.

I must truly say. This looks magnificent. No video game turned film has put this much effort behind it ever. I guess we have Disney and Jerry Bruchiemer for that. And I believe Ironman now has some competition this summer. There is so much to this movie. Even though it is called The Sands of Time, is looks to have elements from the entire Price of Persia Trilogy. And it’s just enough to make you want more.
