There has yet to be a game that people have been waiting for with such anticipation. (Maybe Final Fantasy Versus 13). But The Last Guardian is one of those rare games that would truly touch the heart. We still don’t know when the game is coming out. Or even when we may see a real demo of how the game works. At least the developers at Sony Japan Studio are giving us something.

Well it looks like we’ll have to wait until holiday 2011 to play this. But if anything it will be the pretties game of 2011.

Game Developers Conference: Fumito Ueda the Creative Lead for Ico and Shadow of the Colossus. He stated that the game he is currently working on was, ” It will be similar to…..”, “Well the essence of the game will be similar to Ico”. His very short words.

Footage labled “Project Trico” was released (leaked????). Yes it indeed has the same look and feel of Ico. as Ueda said their next project would. But I beleive this footage is not brand new. It may have been shown at the the GDC. If they were going to this game at this years E3, the little boy should be more polished like the griffon type animal he is with. And probably game footage. Or at the least a real trailer. Being a PS3 exclusive, Sony won’t show anything until they’re ready. God of War is a good example of how tightly Sony will hold out on information. Until something else is “leaked” we’ll have to settle for the footage they so generously gave us.
