Transformers 3 is currently filming in Washington DC, when Bumblebee ran into a little problem. The Bumblebee Camero smashes straight into a police SVU and was completely totaled. Apparently a bomb scare was called in and the cop was rushing to the scene when this happened. thanks to FOX 5 News.

Statement from the Metropolitan Police Department:
“Earlier today, a MPD marked cruiser responding to an emergency assignment, collided with a vehicle involved in the filming of a movie at Third Street and Maryland Avenue, SW. The officer sustained minor injuries and was transported to a local hospital. No civilian injuries have been reported.

The Metropolitan Police Department is investigating the facts of the crash and filming of this movie on closed DC city streets has been suspended until safety procedures can be reviewed. ”

Transformers: The Dark of the Moon is Directed by Michael Bay and stars Shia LaBeouf and Josh Duhamel. It hits theaters on July 1st, 2011.

Transformers was a revolutionary step in movie making. For years those of us that grew up watching the cartoons and begging for the toys for Christmas and our birthdays dreamed of what it would be like if the transformers were “real”. Opening on June 24th everywhere in conventional theaters and Imax. This film is sure to be as entertaining as Star Trek. And hopefully better. With the release date for the third film already set, you can bet that transformers Revenge of the Fallen is going to rock.
